The Be Well Tameside Team has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Health Improvement Manager

As Health Improvement Manager you will support the Strategic Be Well Manager to develop innovative and evidenced based approaches to prevention and early intervention with a focus on healthy lifestyles, weight management, communications and community engagement. You will represent Be Well Tameside at key partnership meetings and contribute to Tameside’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy and drive performance ensuring services align to local and national priorities and best practice.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Health Improvement Manager to help lead our Be Well Tameside Team. A confident and inspiring leader with experience managing staff and programs in public health, community or a wellbeing setting. An excellent communicator who has experience in report writing, delivering presentations and preparing communications for a range of requirements at different levels. Knowledge around public health issues and programs relating to health improvement, behaviour change, health inequalities and evidence-based practice. Strong background in managing team workloads, supporting wellbeing, and maintaining high performance standards.
