Are you an aspiring senior leader or a teacher looking for continued development?
Rose Hill Primary School is a large inclusive primary school serving the community of Marple. We welcome applications from excellent, innovative teachers who wish to work in our friendly, caring and successful school. Our school is a 2.5 form entry school with a nursery and resourced provision based in a large, well-resourced learning environment. Our SEND provision is one of the strengths of our school and all the tools and support are in place for you to continue to lead our SEND offer.

Our opportunity
Due to the internal promotion of one of our SENDCos, we are looking to appoint an immensely organised, dedicated and conscientious SEND Coordinator who will work alongside our experienced 3-day SENDCo. Our post will be a non-teaching post initially, although occasionally some class cover may be required. We actively welcome interest from colleagues who already hold the National SENCO Award, as well as from teachers who are totally committed to providing high quality SEND provision and inclusion and are at the beginning of that qualification journey.

Our ideal candidate will:
• Be a highly skilled and experienced teacher with exemplary classroom practice and the skills to be able to coach and develop this within others
• Already have experience within SEND and inclusion within their current role and an excellent understanding of SEND Code of Practice
• Have a strong track record in identifying children’s needs and making a significant impact on the progress of all pupils
• Have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Be able to lead, motivate and inspire others to achieve excellence
• Be innovative, have a passion for high quality and inclusive education for all and be able to strategically lead and develop SEND across the school
• Be fully committed to our school and our ethos, as a proactive member of the Senior Leadership Team

We can offer you:
• enthusiastic and well behaved children who are keen to learn
• a dedicated, supportive and enthusiastic team of staff
• a popular and happy school with caring and involved parents and governors
• a commitment to high quality professional development
• a school with a clear vision and strategy to improve outcomes for all children
• an effective and supportive Senior Leadership Team

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very positive and happy staff team and we welcome any informal conversations or questions you may have about the post. We would also actively encourage visits, so please contact the school office on 0161 427 9168 to make an appointment.
