Job Title: Year 6 Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Salary: Scale 5 point 12 £20,019 (Pro rata actual salary)
Hours: 31.25 (Including Lunchtime duties)
Working Pattern: Term time only
Contract type: Permanent

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Higher Level Teaching Assistant who would like to become part of our supportive and enthusiastic staff team.
This position will involve teaching classes across the school but particularly supporting the teaching and learning in Year 6.
You must be able to:
Demonstrate you are an excellent practitioner with high expectations of children’s achievements and standards in all areas of school life
Demonstrate an understanding of the role
Use your skills and knowledge to plan, deliver and assess lessons throughout KS2 but mainly in Y6
Deliver the role with energy and enthusiasm
Relate well to children and build relationships
Actively engage children in their learning
Liaise with parents and other professionals effectively
Work as a member of a team and take responsibility
Be able to use your own initiative
Demonstrate strong behaviour management strategies linked with the school’s behaviour policy
