Job Title: Key Stage Lead in Maths
Contract Details: Permanent: Full time
Salary/Grade: Main/Upper Scale plus TLR 2 (£5050)
Start date: January 2026 (or September 2026 for the right candidate)
The Governors of St Patricks RC High School are looking to appoint an excellent Key Stage Lead in Maths who is committed to ensuring pupil enjoyment and progress within our successful department. The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating strong leadership of curriculum design, teaching and learning, assessment and personal development.
The Key Stage Lead will take responsibility for:
- Supporting the Head of Maths in ensuring the Mathematics curriculum is compliant, well-sequenced, rigorous and relevant.
- Monitoring the quality of teaching and learning across KS3 lessons.
- Designing high-quality assessments for KS3 Maths.
- Supporting the Head of Maths in analysing and responding to assessment data to maximise achievement for all pupils.
- Ensuring pupils’ education in Maths contributes to their wider personal development.
- Leading opportunities for enrichment and co-curricular activities linked to the Maths curriculum.
