Salary Range: SCP4 – SCP5 (£24,404.00 - £24,790.00 FTE), pro rata salary £13,111.38 - £13,318.76
Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment
Working Type: Part Time [22.5 hours/39 working weeks] – Paid weeks 45.942
Base: Essa Academy, Lever Edge Lane, Bolton, BL3 3HH
Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

Essa Academy is seeking to appoint a kitchen assistant to support in the school canteen. The successful candidate will assist with the food preparation, handling and storage of foods. You will support in maintaining the kitchen, associated areas and equipment to the highest level of cleanliness. You will play a key role in supporting he effective service of food to our students, promoting a nutritious and healthy diet.
