The Role…


The Governing Board of High Lawn Primary & Nursery School are looking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and popular school. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude to all aspects of school life and be able to work as part of a team. They will have the ability to maintain our high standards and have a firm belief in the potential of all children.


The post is to support children on a one to one basis in year groups across the school who have an Education, Health and Care Plan.


About You…


We are looking for an individual who:

  • has experience of being a Teaching Assistant/Special Needs Assistant in a primary school;
  • has an excellent subject knowledge of the National Curriculum;
  • has experience of supporting children who have an Education Health and Care Plan;
  • has excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • is an exemplary Teaching Assistant/SNA;
  • has high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour;
  • is committed to working in close partnership with parents, Governors and the wider community.
