Salary: Grade F, point 17 - 23 - £30,060 - £33,366 pro rata
Actual Salary: £23,994 - £26,633
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm (30 minutes lunch)
Contract: 35 hours per week, Term Time plus 2 days
Contract Type: Fixed Term initially until 31 August 2026. The position could become permanent for the right person.

The Governors and Headteacher wish to appoint a dynamic Pastoral Care Officer in order to further build upon and develop our nurturing philosophy and approach. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and resilient individual to work in partnership with the Headteacher and wider team, to build on our successes. As an overview, you will model excellent practice and share skills and experience with others. You will be required to promote the highest standards of student wellbeing, behaviour and communication with parents. You will be key in providing individual support to children working closely with teaching staff, support staff, and outside agencies. You will work with whole classes, targeted intervention groups, and individual children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or, on a 1 to1 basis, dependent on need, providing more intensive, bespoke and personalised interventions for more complex and harder to reach children. The successful candidate will have significant experience of working in a primary school learning environment and be able to demonstrate sound communication skills. You must have GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/Level 4 or above Professional Responsibilities will include:
